Financial 

Tuition and Fees - Tuition for the 2009 academic year is €75 euros per credit hour for the Core Sciences (Semesters 1 - 4) and €125 euros per credit hour for the Clinical Sciences (Semesters 5 - 6) which may be paid in full or as monthly installments by check, direct debit, or credit card. Tuition for each course must be paid in full prior to release of final grades for the course. There will be an additional €250 euros lab fee for each laboratory course and a €1000 euros graduation fee on completion of studies. A fee of €50 euros will be assessed for any returned check. Refunds - Students who withdraw from the University will be have tuition and fees refunded according to the following schedule:

First four weeks of class.............................100 percent
Fifth through eighth week of class ..............50 percent
After eighth week........................................No refund

Financial Aid - The University does not currently participate in any U.S. governmental tuition assistance programs, however, the Delphi University Foundation will finance student's education privately by entering into an educational financing agreement which allows students pay only a token amount monthly (approxiamtely €100 euros) until their education is completed. Additionally, students are encouraged to research other sources of private grants and scholarships such as the fastWEB Scholarship Search accessible on the World Wide Web at URL http://www.fastweb.com

Tuition Discounts - The University offers tuition discounts to students who after the completion of their training, will agree to attend medical missions sponsored by the University to under served areas of the world. The discounts are based on the amount of time the student is willing to volunteer on a yearly basis according to the following schedule:

Four weeks a year......................................40 percent

Three weeks a year.....................................30 percent

Two weeks a year.......................................20 percent

One week a year..........................................10 percent

Students interested in this program should request an application for tuition discounts from the Office of Admissions after acceptance.

Scholarships - A limited number of scholarships in each semester are granted by the Delphi University Foundation. Students may obtain information about these scholarships from the Office of the Rector of Delphi University School of Nursing after acceptance.

Other Expenses - Students must have access to a computer and the internet and are strongly encouraged to obtain a laptop computer with high speed internet access and a CD ROM, as large portions of the curriculum will be obtained via the Student Section of the Delphi University website on the internet. Additionally books and study guides are available through the University, Amazon at Website http://www.amazon.com/, or at your local medical bookstore. When available, the CD ROM versions are suggested. Full text versions of some required textbooks may be accessed on the World Wide Web at www.mdconsult.com

Independent study students are required to make trips to the University according to the following schedule:

A four-day long weekend at the completion the first (1st), second (2nd), and third (3rd) Nursing Science semesters to participate in laboratories, attend seminars, and take final examinations.

A ten (10) day session at the completion of the fourth (4th) Nursing Science semester to take final examinations, attend an orientation to the clinical semesters, receive clinical assignments, and attend courses for certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

All students must attend a week long session at the Principality of Hutt River campus upon the completion of all studies for final written and oral examinations and graduation ceremonies. Diplomas will not be mailed, students are required to attend the examinations and graduation ceremonies.
