Delphi University School of Medicine is Chartered in the Principality of New Utopia to provide educational programs leading to the granting of the Doctor of Medicine Degrees (M.D.). Recognizing that mid-career
professionals and traditional students want to further their education
with a minimum of disruption to their family life, the curriculum
of Delphi University School of Medicine was designed to meet this
need. In the Basic Science semesters, students pursue an
independent study program using computer aided learning, video
and tele-conferencing, pod-casts, and the internet in a revolutionary
approach to medical education. Students may enroll at any time of the year and spend most
of the Basic Science semesters studying at home in familiar surroundings
guided by the Delphi University Faculty.

Basic Science students are required to make trips to one of the University's campuses to take final examinations and attend laboratories after completing all the required assignments for each semester. Final examinations will be administered on a monthly basis so each student may work at their own pace.
In the Clinical Science years, students are guided by physician mentors through their required clerkships in Delphi University affiliated hospitals and clinics in the Americas, Europe or Asia.
